Delikat in Trier

Everything we could order was delicious... but not worth the wait. Unfortunately, half of the menu wasn't available (we wanted a breakfast/brunch menu at 11:45, this wasn't possible). Then the waitress brought the wrong drinks before we corrected her. And the staff apparently forgot our food order. We waited 45 minutes and had to make multiple requests before receiving our sandwiches. No apology from the staff whatsoever.

Get an amazing breakfast conjured up. Actually, we rarely go to "breakfast". But here it is also worth spending some money on breakfast. Nice cozy ambience!

Unfortunately, I waited three quarters of an hour for breakfast to arrive. A cheese breakfast for € 9.90 with a slice of Gauda, ​​a very small piece of hard cheese, a small slice of Camembert and a dollop of cream cheese. Because of the long waiting times and the inadequate price, I unfortunately cannot recommend this cafe.

Extremely rude staff and half of the items on the menu are not available. I dared to visit Delikat again after the impression given six years ago that the establishment takes pride in mistreating their customers which is very bad for the Trier, German or European image in general. I was accused of messing up the decorations when I put the empty glass aside because wasps were hovering over the juice. I gave a bigger tip than usual to see if it would make a difference: the employee took the money, avoiding eye contact and did not even say thank you nor goodbye. Avoid this place if you don’t want to ruin your day.

The shop is really cute, the decor is pretty and the sales corner is nicely decorated. The dishes look nice, I like the small details and bowls etc. Unfortunately, the tables are a bit too small for the whole area, there is a lack of space. The waitress was really slow and you had the feeling that she passed the guests quickly in order not to be addressed. But I also have to say that there were two of them. It wasn't overcrowded, but maybe there was a reason why the service was so slow. After 20 minutes we had to get our card on request. There are some vegetarian dishes, unfortunately only two vegan ones. Since this is not a café that specializes in vegan / vegetarian dishes, I don't ask too much. I was offered something vegan to get from the kitchen (I thought it was really nice). Then it was curry hummus, something like pesto, jam and a spicy cream. There were 1.5 bread slices and a small piece of whole grain baguette as well as some vegetables. It looked nice but was nothing special and you wouldn't have had to wait half an hour for it. This is probably due to the fact that there was only one person in the kitchen and you just have to arrange the many small bowls and everything around them. That takes time, of course. Unfortunately there is no big cappuccino, just a small cup - that is somehow incomprehensible. The cold matcha and the freshly squeezed orange juice were also very good. All in all it was nice and okay, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Sometimes it may be better to reduce the size of the card and do without two bowls, as a guest you don't have to wait that long to get the card or a drink. Still a nice place to drink your coffee outside.

At first glance, the café looks cozy and pretty, but if you get to know it exactly, it's only half as good as expected. This applies to everything I ordered and experienced there. The selection of drinks and food is ok in itself, but what is actually served is simply not so good. My cocoa with oat milk, for example, only went in large, which is why the small cocoa does not go with oat milk is incomprehensible and is not explained. Then there are really small tables and the cocoa is delivered with concentrated in one bowl and the warm oat milk in a second. So the whole table is full u the meaning of it does not open up to me. You mix it up anyway. A lot of appearances for not much ... In addition, the service has an arrogant appearance, thank you and please Nothing. Then their way of ignoring guests rather than listening to them or serving them. I did not feel comfortable there at all and will not go there again. In my opinion they are lucky enough to have the far better shops close by on Mondays. Delicate does not deliver what it promises up close.

Super nice café, comfortably furnished and very attentive and friendly service. We were there for the set table (only possible with reservation) and thought it was great. You can reorder as much of everything as you want. In the back of the café is a small sales corner with u. A. Local treats, table accessories and wines.

It is very cozy here. There are different types of tea and coffee. Next time we will try breakfast. It sounds very tasty. The location is clean and cozy. The service was nice.

Cozy bistro! Omnivores are here royally spoiled. Some vegetarian options are also available. But plant-based (vegan) is puny ... Rolls with jam and some fruit are boring ... there is still very much air up. Should it for breakfast for example hummus, fried mushrooms, or even cashew camembert against, I will gladly come back. Very friendly fast service. The small shopping area is very attractive.
